“SAY GRACE”
No one should ever go hungry…especially not at Christmas time. In Huntington, we have a wonderful group of people at the Meal Ministry that feed those in need in our community. Since they do not serve breakfast or lunch on the weekends, we will serve brunch on Sundays for the entire month of December. That would be a total of 5 times. Christmas Decorating
The beauty of our church is enhanced further when adorned with greenery and lights. We invite you to an afternoon filled with music and decorating. Everyone is welcome to participate. The specific time and date will be announced.
Resource Expo and Ice Cream Social
Have you ever wondered what resource are available to you in the Huntington area? This will be the perfect time to find out. 1st Prez will have local organizations in attendance. Each booth will give you new information as to what is available or maybe, you are wondering how you can volunteer and make a difference in your community. The best part is…we will be giving away ice cream. Who doesn’t like ice cream?
Church Picnic
It has often been said as long as you have a church community you will never go hungry. To prove this fact, we will have our Annual Church Picnic on September 22. The time and location will follow later.
Car Show
Hand out water and get to know your community better. We will have a booth set up at the Huntington Corvette Show Saturday. It will be a great time to spread the word about upcoming events while checking out some beautiful cars.
